Has the APCUPSD plugin just worked for everyone else who has tried it?   with a USB connected APC UPS?  No super special trick to it?

I just get a bunch of "Communications with UPS lost" event in the log - and no action.

Any suggestions for what to check, test etc next are appreciated.

I have OPNsense  25.1.7 running on some Qotom hardware.
Connected an APC SMVV750 via supplied USB cable.


Added the Apcupsd plugin.
Configured - as per snip.
Can't seem to get anything other than "COMMLOST" for a status


Went to terminal.
Weirdly - when I run a usbvonfig list,  <APC by S.E. SMV750CAI> at usbus0 only shows up sometimes.
