Has anyone got this to work? I have the same problem. Dnsmasq isn't responding back to Unbound with any records. Doesn't matter if they're reserved or not. I also have an issue with Dnsmasq not leasing ipv6 or sending RA's. I guess there's something missing in the instructions or Dnsmasq is bunk.
To recreate this issue, just install OPNsense with all the defaults.
Follow the instructions to setup Dnsmasq.
Get a client to get an address.
Try to lookup the client name via dig or nslookup.
