the clients can't ping IPs such as 8.8.8.8 (google dns)
but the opnsense itself can.
also watching the firewall logs. it shows blocked requests from 192.168.1.103 (my client ip) to 192.168.1.1:80. i forgot what the message was.
i tried to run the opnsense container back again. the gui didn't work so i used 4) rest to factory defaults.
and it somehow fixed the first issue, i couldn't replicate the bug from that container.
i'm pretty sure it doesn't work out of the box. because i tried reinstalling it 4 times from dvd iso.
i guess this could be a solution for someone then...
edit: i might visit it later and get screenshots and more logs of this
