24.7 Production Series / Strange Dynamic DNS Behavior
« on: October 31, 2024, 11:02:43 pm »
So Dynamic DNS was working reasonably well until upgrading to 24.7.
Fought with config. Blew away. Recreated. Rebooted. Somewhere there was an old IP and the logs just kept saying "SKIPPING". Multiple providers tried no way to remove the IP address.
Frustrated so manually built an actions_dynamic_dns.conf from CLI. Added a cron job so hop it solves the issue. Here's the really weird thing:
Lobby shows IP as uu.xxx.yyy.z
Manual curl from CLI shows IP as uu.xxx.YYY.ZZ (note caps are DIFFERENT)
I can get to the curl IP, not the lobby IP.
Is this a bug or a feature? Anyone else observing similar behavior?
