Hardware and Performance / Sharing Internet over an RS-232 serial port from the firewall

Hello
I have an old Pentium machine, 166 MHz or something. I want to move files back and forth to it and from it, and I plan to do it using a serial cable. I do not have any ISA or PCI NIC at hand I could use in it.
I run OPNsense in a Futro S930. It has a serial port in it. Question is, is it possible to use that serial port as a PPP server to a PPP client in the ancient Pentium machine?
