yesterday, I wanted to know if it was possible to connect my AP to my opnsense router (or to my switch connected to my opnsense router) and be able to connect to the wifi and access the opnsense web interface, except that it didn't work and my AP wasn't connected to the internet. In parallel to this on reddit, people told me that I should redo a clean installation of opnsense because I'd probably misconfigured the router, and that's what I did today. Except that during the installation, I didn't assign the ethernet ports manually, but automatically, so my WAN port is em1 (instead of re0, re0 being my realtek ethernet port, but I changed it because in my opinion the drivers for realtek are badly managed) and LAN for em0 (ports em1 and em0 being ports coming from my intel quadport gigabit network card). And after that, I had ip addresses assigned for WAN and LAN, but I still couldn't access the web interface. Someone told me on reddit to plug in my switch, which I did, but it still didn't work, so I decided to move my router to another room in the house, and I redid my connections, plugged my switch into the router, my router to the isp router with a 15m ethernet cable, and my pc to the switch, and then I managed to access the opnsense web interface. I think that the place where I had put my router was not suitable, because there may have been parasites that were interfering with the connection, and in addition when I unplugged and reconnected my ethernet cable from the WAN port, it crackled (which is no longer the case, because I moved from the router to another room in the house), but also I think it does that because like an idiot I plugged a power strip into a power strip, so it must have interfered with my router, I would only take one power strip to plug in all my devices in my living room. But now I'm facing another problem, although my pc is connected to the switch and the switch is connected to the router, I'm not getting any connection from the ethernet port, so I'm using the wifi on my isp's router, but I'm still able to connect to the opnsense web interface, which is weird, it means that opnsense is still detecting my switch, but it's not transmitting the internet connection. .. Is there a setting I need to adjust on opnsense? (Also i tried to connect my pc directly to the opnsense router and not the switch, but same problem, but still can access to the web ui)

Hello it's me again with the same problem, but i think the router was about to work. Yesterday on this forum I said that my pc and my AP were not detected, and I reinstalled opnsense today, except that, instead of linking my opnsense router (on the realtek 8111 ethernet port) to my ISP router, I instead linked my router, on the port of my Intel quad gigabit network card to my ISP router and it detected fine (em0 = LAN and em1 = WAN), and what's more, when I connect my AP or pc and my opnsense router to my ISP's router, it detects them and displays the IP address for the LAN port and a DHCP IP address on the WAN port. So I connected my AP to the em0 port and the router to my ISP's router on the em1 port, but it still doesn't work, except that every time I restart my router, I get this : https://imgur.com/a/UrecDN1

it says : (ada0:achich0:0:0):SEND_FPDMA_QUEUED DATA SET MANAGEMENT, ACB:64 01 00 00 00 40 00 00 00 00 00 00

(ada0:achich0:0:0):CAM STATUS: Command timeout

(ada0:achich0:0:0):Retrying command, 3 more tries

maybe this is why my AP isn't detected?
