Hello guys and gals,
I have been trying to implement the new iteration of DHCP but I am running into small issues related to HA.
A CARP has been set for the interface delivering DHCP, the subnet has been configured, the HA peers are added, HA is enabled and the control-agent is active. The configuration has been synchronized between the 2 firewalls as well.
The problem is that when a host requests a new adress from the DHCP, it is not the master or the primary that delivers it but rather it seems random, sometimes given by the primary but sometimes by the standby instead. On top of that, leases dont seem to be shared between the two leading to multiple identical adresses being given out.
In short, how does one make sure that the only DHCP server to answer is the primary in the KEA HA please ?
Attached are some screenshots of the configuration, Thank you very much to anyone willing to help !
