Swapped out the cable and rebooted now - I'll wait and see if that fixes anything, fingers crossed.

I've tried following the "prevent release" tip found in this other forum thread, but that doesn't fix the problem unfortunately - still getting errors like these that insist that the ipv6 process is first killed, but then afterwards errors about the process already running:

Hi there,

I'm having problems with the IPV6 service going down intermittently. (every 2-12 minutes).
I feel like I'm going nuts here, I even reinstalled OPNsense from scratch to see if that would fix anything, but stuck with the same problem. Any suggestions for how to proceed here?
