Just so i understand this clear.:-

Old cron:-

Thank you for your reply.

I've already updated to the latest hotfix 26.1.7_3 but the behaviour seems unchanged.

Hi,

I've been using the OS-WOL plug-in on OPNsense, with a daily cron job to wake my server from sleep for the last 2 years.
This has worked flawlessly from 24.7 all the way to 26.1.6.

The cron job started failing ever since I upgraded to 26.1.7 on the 1st of May 2026.

I can still wake my server up from the GUI Services - WOL. However the cron job fails. When I check the logs under system - log files - backend I get a "wol wake 192.168.50.255 xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx] returned Error (1) message.

I find this strange as I haven't made any changes to the WOL Cron Job in over 2 years and it now fails every time.

Just so its clear the parameters for the cron job were :- 192.168.50.255 MAC_ADDRESS

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Zenarmor (Sensei) / Re: 1.18 Wireguard is disconnected

Can confirm, after Zenarmor update 1.18 Wireguard connections are disrupted.

Zenarmor support also asked me to avoid upgrading to 24.7_9.

Below mentioned is their email:-

"The test kernel on the Wireguard side has been patched on the OPNsense side.

We recommend that you make a backup before the process.

Kernel to try

opnsense-update -zkr 24.7_7

Don't forget to reboot

https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=41762.0

Additionally, we do not recommend updating to OPNsense 24.7_9. Wireguard works in the 24.7_7 version I provided.

We recommend that you follow OPNsense and Zenarmor updates."

Ive done the opnsense update via gui and have also checked for updates to zenarmor (1.17.5).

Should i be using the emulated native netmap driver under zenarmor instead of the native netmap driver?

Thank you

Yes, i have already rebooted.

Ive already upgraded to 24.7_9, however with the native netmap driver I'm still unbale to filter WireGuard traffic.

How can i go about downgrading to 24.7_7 to use the test kernel.

Would really appreciate some guidance.

Thanks

Hi,

Im trying to purchase a Home User license for Zenarmor but none of my credit cards are being accepted on your payment gateway.

My trial period is about to expire and I would like to purchase the license.

Is it possible to extend the trial period till the payment gateway issues are resolved, or provide a paypal or alternative payment method
