Unfortunately for me the problem still persists

After some days of investigation, I was forced to switch to the deprecated ISC DHCP and I've noticed that for each DHCP REQUEST, the server often replies on both VLANs. In the right one with an ACK response, and in the other one with NAK. Is this behavior normal? The capture is made only on one VLAN interface.

Have you tried rebooting after toggling udp/raw? I found out it sometimes didn't reload the associated firewall rules automatically after a change.

I've tried, but nothing happend.

I'm using Kea for both ipv6 and ipv4 and not seeing this. I am using raw socket on ipv4 side. I don't see the setting for that on the IPv6 side

Are you using VLANs on the same physical interface?

I also have some strange behavior, very similar to the one described by you.
I've got 2 different VLANs, tagged on the same physical interface.
When the socket type is set to "RAW" the DHCPv4 distributes IPv4 addresses only on one VLAN. I've also configured both subnets, but sometimes it takes the IP address from the wrong one.
Since the used ISP is IPv4 only, I've enabled only the v4 version, and i can confirm it does not work when the sock type is set to "UDP".

Unfortunately not, the physical machine was changed and there the problem did not recur

Off course, i didn't attach the screenshot because the configuration schema was the same.
But, unfortunately, also with this driver, the problem persists  :-\

Now i've configure as follow. I'll ask you if it's right, because the documentation is not so detailed.

I've tried to copy your configuration, but the error persists. I've also tried to install the driver through "pkg install realtek-re-kmod" but this create also another problem.
This installation method require to add some lines in /boot/loader.conf file, witch are ofter overwritten.

I've read that os-realtek-re packet is still not needed, but without it Opnsense does not recognise the network card

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to investigate about a curious problem that make my system crash every times that i enable the IPS. There is no still problem using IDS. The computer has two network cards: the 1Gbit motherboard one, and a 2 x 2.5Gbit Realtek installed on a pci slot. Enabling the IPS when only the motherboard one is installed works fine; when i install the Realtek, after a couple of second, it crash and the computer restarts.

The system reports the attached message.
