I solved it.

was too easy. Sorry to bother you.

just startet my WAN interface using ifconfig, added a default route and then opnsense-bootstrap did the magic. It kept all configuration. I just had to reinstall some additional packges like wireguard.

I  updated from 23.1 to 23.7. I did wait some Time after the reboot but my OPNSense route did not show up, no DHCP on my LAN interface, no WebUI, nothing. I hooked up monitor and Keyboard and I realized my Router stopped booting whit an error.

After Generating configuration: OK it shows some lines of the type
>>> Invoking backup script '$SOMETHING'
where $SOMETHING ist likedhcpleases, duid, netflow, rrd, last one is carp.

folowing by CARP event system: Error (255)*

* I did not use or actively enabled CARP

It says:
Launching the init system...done.
Initializing...  (which sounds promissing)
And then an Error apears:
Fatal error: Uncought Error: CAll to undefined function OPNsense\CORE\ctype_digit() in /usr/local/opnsense/mcv/app/library/OPNsense/Core/Config.php:89

After a Strack trace it prompts my to "Enter full pathname of shell or RETURN for /bin/sh"

Any ideas how to get my system up again?
