Dear OPNsense forum community,
I was wondering if there is an official or approved way to run the OPNsense firewall in memory, by booting it from a live environment drive (such as an USB stick), with a pre-loaded configuration file at a known location.
Will adding a suitable /conf/config.xml to the root of the ISO image prior to burning it to drive, work? Or is there an official way?
My goal is to automatize as much as possible the configuration loading by the OPNsense Importer, without human intervention and possibly without disk access.
