High availability / Second ISP through LAN
« on: May 07, 2023, 03:32:21 pm »
Good day,
I looked online and through the forum, and I couldn't find the answer, but maybe I am just unfamiliar with the terminology. Hoping someone could help me out by pointing me in the right direction.
I currently have OPNSense with starlink connected to the WAN port, and my LAN port connected to the Garage, Home, Neighbours house through a set of switches. I would like to install a second ISP for fail-over, the issue is that it is optimal to have it on the house, but I cannot run a cable to connect it to the OPNSense second WAN port from there. Is there anyway to "tunnel" the second ISP through the LAN or something to that effect?
I attached a picture of the basic configuration...
thanks for your time, i appreciate it!
cheers,
Tim
