Aye, it has just upgraded to 22.7.1 without complaint and the health check is coming back clean. Buggered if I know what the problems with the inital update to 22.7 were all about, but I'm reasonably sure yesterday's issues were down to a delay on the mirror updating.

which update prompt? 22.7.1?

Yeah, 22.7.1. My post with my latest update woes is on the bottom of the previous page.

Do the update/changelog details and the install files come from different sources?

I'm just wondering as I've changed nothing, nor rebooted and now I'm getting the update prompt. The only thing that seems to make sense in this situation is that it's picked up the update (directly from Deciso?), but the University of Kent mirror that I use didn't yet have a copy of the new files to install.

I updated to 22.7 by doing a clean re-install using the 22.7 image and restoring a backup. Updated to 22.7_4 just fine.

Just hit check for updates and the Dashboard is now showing "Click to view pending updates."If I click that I'm shown "Your packages are up to date."
However the Changelog page still shows 22.7.1 available. Trying option 12 via the console and I get "Nothing to do."

I don't think I've got anything particularly unusual configured. A few floating firewall rules and an OpenVPN server. The only Plugins I have extra are: os-acme-client, os-chrony, os-lldpd and os-theme-rebellion.

It takes all of ~20 minutes to re-install, but any other suggestions to get this working?

Cheers.

I'm having pretty much the same issue, same GUI issue etc. Although I was only half paying attention when presented with the 3rd update prompt yesterday, which I vaguley recall acually being a downgrade back to 22.1.10_4.

Now when trying to up update via the console I get:

Enter an option: 12

Fetching change log information, please wait... done

This will automatically fetch all available updates and apply them.

A major firmware upgrade is available for this installation: 22.7

Make sure you have read the release notes and migration guide before
attempting this upgrade.  Around 500MB will need to be downloaded and
require 1000MB of free space.  Continue with this major upgrade by
typing the major upgrade version number displayed above.

Minor updates may be available, answer 'y' to run them instead.

Via opnsense-update at the shell and I get "Nothing to do."

Am I reinstalling using the latest image and restoring a backup to fix this?

Cheers.
