22.1 Legacy Series / Re: No internet for Wifi
June 16, 2022, 04:35:10 PM
I played around for another 3 hours and now it works.
What did I do? No idea really. But most of it was DNS/adGuard settings, so I think the problem layed there somewhere.

Cheers

22.1 Legacy Series / No internet for Wifi [solved]
June 16, 2022, 12:55:52 PM
Hello everyone,

I am new to OPNSense, so please ask away if you need specific logs (and be gentle  ;) ).

I have set up a fresh install and can't for the life of me figure out, why my Wifi is not working.

Versions
OPNsense 22.1.8_1-amd64
FreeBSD 13.0-STABLE
OpenSSL 1.1.1o 3 May 2022

My Setup
I use a Fritzbox as the Internet Gateway.
The Route for all subnets behind the OPNSense are set up on the Fritz.
The Fritz itself is connected to an 8-Port Netgear Switch with VLANs trunked on the corresponting LAN-Port.
The LAN and Wifi-Interfaces are all VLAN interfaces set up on one of my two available NICs (the other being the WAN interface)
Wifi is distributed by a Unif AP, with DHCP being handeld by the OPNSense.

The Problem
While DHCP (192.168.22.0/24) works fine for my Wifi, I don't have internet access and can't even Ping the corresponding OPNSense Interface (192.168.22.1), but I CAN access the OPNSense GUI via this IP.
When I ping the Interface I get "No route to host".
When I ping any other OPNSense Interface or the FritBox Transfer Interface I get a connection timeout.

Relevant Informations
Lan works perfectly fine. I have access to the internet and to everything I have set up rules for.
The Wifi-Interface is also pingable from the LAN-Subnet.
Besides the (automatically created) rules for DHCP access, I also have the following rules bound to the Wifi-Interface:
- WifiNet any Port to non-RFC (Internet) any port
- WifiNet any Port to WifiNet any port
8.8.8.8 is pingable  :o

I'm really at a loss here and am grateful for any and all suggestions to what I can check to solve this problem.

Thanks in advance
