Hey, I use OPNsense since a few weeks and so far it mostly been great.

One annoying issue though is that my Android phones (Google Pixel) Wifi keeps disconnecting every few seconds and the only fix I found so far is to restart the OPNsense box. This seems to start over night and I think it's related to my PPPoE reconnect (Wan interface reset via cron every night).

Any ideas what might be going on or how to start troubleshooting? I don't have many wifi devices, but an iPhone doesn't seem to have the same issues.

I tried that last night, unless I'm doing something incredibly it seems Opnsense can't see the interface at all. I probably shouldn't have bought the cheapest box I could find.

I will try to contact the manufacturer for help.

I currently have it installed via VGA and checked and also tried a few different settings for serial, but still no output.

I should have mentioned it before, I use Windows 10 and Putty.

I bought an appliance from aliexpress (https://aliexpress.com/item/32794678352.html) and can't get the com port to output anything. I tried different cables and different versions of the serial image, but nothing happens at all. I think it is probably hardware related, but does anyone have any tips to troubleshoot maybe further?
