I know from personal experience what this is like. I have two kids too, and I've seen them inadvertently end up on unsafe Minecraft servers more than once. There is a lot of dirty content in the game besides the positives. When I started looking for adequate servers in the game, I came across servers-minecraft.net. There are a lot of mods here, and most importantly, you can choose the right server for you. Also, the links should not be viruses. That is, for the computer, too, do not worry. I advise you and look at these servers for your children.
