I'm running OPNsense since years on three APU.4D4 with hardly any problems, until today.
I just upgraded two of them to 23.1 and both of them lost all interface assignments after the update, so I was left with just LAN (igb0) and WAN (igb1).
I reconfigured them manually and after a reboot they were gone again, I restored a configuration backup, again after reboot they were gone.
I'm not sure how this is related but I got it working again on both by setting the lock option on one interface, probably it was just a coincidence.
It was impossible to restore the configuration without physical access to the device.
Did anyone experience something similar?
