22.7 Legacy Series / Many dhcpd processes Spawning, firewall freezing

Hello everyone,

I recently discovered that my opnsense instance slowed down, and VoIP services like Teams/Discord felt not that "Real Time" (There were connection problems). So, I entered the Web UI of my Router which took ages, and then I tried opening a ssh connection to see if I can locate the issue. I discovered in top there were over 900 Process and almost all of them were dhcpd. Then I rebooted the Machine. The Shutdown normally takes about a few seconds, but this time "Invoking stop script 'beep'" took already over a Minute. After the reboot was finally done, everything is back to normal.

I already encountered this twice, so I thought I might ask the community.

Does anyone else has encountered this Issue or even know what is and how to fix?
