However, since OPNsense was created as a fork of pfSense, I'm concerned that it might suffer from similar issues in that regard, and I don't have any backup hardware to play around with for any length of time. Hence my caution.

Since I can no longer stand the frustration of pfSense's handling of Unbound, I would like to ask if OPNsense suffers from problems similar to the following:
