Good Afternoon,
I have been running OPNSense as a virtual machine on a Synology DS3617XS for more than 12 weeks.
Mostly everything works as expected.
However occasionally the virtual machine hangs during the booting process.
It looks to be searching for a FD controller and sits there timing out whilst it looks.
If I log onto the console on the Synology virtual machine manager and connect to the console, with a few forced reboots of virtual machine it will start as expected.
When OPNSense has been running I have added the QEMU plug in.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues at all?
The Synology has a Xenon and 48GB RAM.
Currently on the Synology:
DSM is: DSM 6.2.4-25556 Update 2
Virtual Machine Manager is: 2.5.3-9760
Thank you
