21.1 Legacy Series / Re: BELL FIBE IPTV (Ontario)

allebone, thank again for your reply. I am currently using range 192.168.1.x and 192.168.2.x for other devices in my network. I am not getting an error per say I'm just at a loss on how I can connect it.

VLAN 35 is dedicated to the WAN port on igb1 but I'm unsure how to procedure for my ARRES IP extender device as the ARRES WIRELESS Extender connected to the BELL modem and then the ARRES TV Receiver connects to the ARRES Wireless extender which then provides an IP to the Bell TV Box.

I have 1 port available which is igb4 and I have set it to vlan 36 but unsure exactly how to pass it through the WAN as 35 is already assigned to this port. BTW this might seem unorthodox but I am willing to pay for support as the wife isn't pleased about the whole TV situation at the moment and if you've already done it in Ontario you might already have all the proper relay information ;).

Hi Opnsense community,

First of all I just want to say thank you to the opnsense community as you guys are amazing! Now the problem ;), I have Bell Fibe in Ontario, Canada 1GB Down / 1 GB UP.

The Internet is working amazing and the reason for hooking up directly is that when opnsense was hooked up to my Bell Home Hub 2000 I was experiencing intermittent disconnections (40 times a day) and after going directly to the GPON with no configuration changes I'm having zero / no disconnections which rules out opnsense or the connection to the house. The problem lies is on how to get my Bell IPTV to work.

HARDWARE:
QOTOM Q330G4 Mini PC w/ 8GB RAM + 32GB SSD

Lan Configuation:
Port 1: igb0 -> LAN (192.168.1.x) (Already used)
Port 2: igb1 -> VLAN35 -> PPPOE WAN
Port 3: igb2 -> LAN2 (192.168.2.x)(Already used)
Port 4: igb4 -> VLAN36 ???

WAN / igb1 is hooked up to the Nokia 7368 ISAM Optical Network Terminal G-240G-A provided by Bell Fibe Canada.

Topology:
QOTOM IGB1 -> VLAN 35 -> NOKIA -> BELL BACKBONE
BELL ARRIS IPTV WIFI EXTENDER -> QOTOM IGB4 -> ???

I've already tried these guides:
https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=13664.msg62951#msg62951
https://www.idscomm.ca/blog/bell-fibe-internet-iptv-with-pfsense (BTW this is using Bell Aliant which the config is not compatible with Ontario)

Any help would be appreciated.
