21.1 Legacy Series / Cannot boot after fresh install
« on: May 28, 2021, 03:17:30 am »
CPU: Intel Celeron J1900
Motherboard: Asrock q1900m (https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Q1900M/)
Memory: 8GB
Disc: 120GB Crucial SSD
I have an issue with the installation of OPNsense-21.1-OpenSSL-vga-amd64.img.
I boot up from my USB pendrive and in Live mode this is working fine.
I start the installation with the installer user and select the guided install.
I select the SSD as target to install the OPNsense 21.1, select the GTP+UEFI option and give 8GB part for the swap.
Everything goes fine till the end and I've been asked to reboot the PC and boot up from the HDD(SSD).
After that I get the error message, "Reboot and select proper boot device"
What I've tried during the multiple tries:
Multiple pendrives, which I used many times to install Arch linuxes to my different devices.
With enabled Secure Boot in the UEFI BIOS.
With disabled Secure Boot.
With MBR installation with both enabled and disabled secure boot.
I know that this board is compatible with freeBSD and pfsense. So I think that this needs to be compatible with OPNsense too. Also the SSD is brand new, the pendrives are Kingston Datatraveller and Sony pendrives.
I'm really out of options now. Please help me what can be my issue?
