I just reinstalled opnsense and imported the firewall config.

All running fine again. Thank you for your help, i hope you can fix the Offline bug for IPv4 gateway.

Also no problems detected.

Nothing else to start over again and restore backup :(

The problem is that every link i click in the Web Gui doesnt give my any information, dashboard is empty.
ALso in private mode, Firewall > Live log dont do anything.

So what is the solution franco? Reinstall and restore backup?

I tried the upgrade to the 27.3.3 and get an error:

Configuring system logging...Error opening plugin module; module='examples', error='/usr/local/lib/syslog-ng/libexamples.so: Undefined symbol "random_choice_generator_parser"'

System came back very slow, the Dashboard isnt loading anymore with information. It shows: Retrieving internal update status...

shell>opnsense-update -pf gives the same error.

Yeah you are correct: The way to get it to work for me is to resave the gateway (making no changes) and hit apply changes.

This makes the Online green button work again. Maybe @franco can have look at it but his rahter busy :)

With the latest version of OPNsense i get the same issue. After rebooting the IPv6 gateway icon is green online but the IPv4 icon is red with offline. But ping from the OPNense shell to the IPv4 gateway gives a reply with now problem.

Also the Interfaces overview gives a both a valid IPv4 and IPv6 wan address.

It worked before the upgrade for 2 years.

It pings the gateway of my ISP subnet im in.

But traced back my steps and the problem occured when i disabled flow control on my nics using the following tunables lines:

dev.igc.0.fc = 0
dev.igc.1.fc = 0

removed the and the monitor went up after rebooting. Is this monitor using flow control feature?

I was wrong, after a wihile it still goes down. :(

My ISP has Dual Full Stack ipv4 en ipv6. I have gateway monitoring enabled for only ipv4 (System: Gateways: Single)

When i reboot the opnsense firewall the ipv4 monitor says offline but the but the WAN adapter get a valid public ipv4 address from my ISP and working so it really Online.

When i edit the System: Gateway > Single > Interface "WAN_DHCP" interface and just save it without adjusting anything the it goes from Offline to Online again.

Is this a bug?

The patched worked for me.

I want to know this to.

I think because the realtek package must be installed after the installation it wont be deteted. And when you have no inet connection you cant install it :)

Would be nice is this can be included again or an option to add it to the installer before the installation?

Yeah sometimes it works instantly but a lot of time it wont work.

I also change the dns server but helps. Seems this release it not good.
