Thanks for the reply.
I’m using netgraph.
The opnatt.log didn’t indicate there were any issues and I saw EAP packets going back and forth so I feel like it should have been working. I’ve had this weirdness before just rebooting on 21.x but have yet to figure out what is going on because it’s rare and usually resolves itself in about an hour. It’s like the EAP stuff finishes and then I just keep sending discovers (correct MAC forwarded) but get no response. I was doing it during my lunch break so I didn’t have much time to keep messing with it.
The family is going to be out of the house in about an hour so I’m going to try again and see if I have better luck today.
Maybe I should look into wpa_supplicant.conf so I can ditch this RG.
