I have setup OpnSense on 192.168.1.1 and attached a D-Link router to it and disabled things like DHCP and UPNP since this is used as a WAP. I then have the WAN port not in use on this router since that is suggested by a D-Link user after you do all of this. I was able to access the GUI and finish the setup, but once I changed the IP address on the router to be 192.168.1.2 I lost the ability to access it. I did figure out how to go into OpnSense and set a static IP address for the D-Link to match but I still can't access it. If I look at leases I can see the D-Link with the correct IP address, but it's listed as offline. Is there something else I need to do? I'm guessing I need to set this up as a gateway or a route in OpnSense but I'm not sure how to do that since I'm pretty new to this stuff. Any help is greatly appreciated.
