I thought the same thing at first but latencies look good and loss look good, even when it fails over. I can saturate the line to 2gbps, not going across the vpn, and everything stays up just fine.

I have multi wan setup in a failover configuration. I have a weird issue with my wireguard client (to torguard). When the wireguard client starts to hit its peak throughput from Torguard, around 1gbps, the primary wan will get marked as failed and it fails over to the backup line. If I limit the speed to say 800mbps everything is stable as can be. Any ideas on tweaks or other settings I can apply to prevent this false failover? The main line is 2gbps, up and down, and I can max it out with no problems when no using the wireguard tunnel. I only have a few client that traverse the tunnel, everything else just go out the primary line. Also, when it does failover, the primary comes back after just a few minutes.

Thank you for the response. Hopefully when all the bugs are worked out a new iso will be released. I absolutely can not load 20.7 as it will not even boot on my box.

20.7 Legacy Series / Another upgrade question
September 17, 2020, 03:23:36 PM
I'm fairly new to Opnsense, 20.1 was my first version. When I tried to upgrade to 20.7 on my AMD Athlon 5350 I received an error and the system would not work. Even a clean install of 20.7 would not boot properly so I installed 20.1 again and restored a backup config.

My question is, how does the upgrade from 20.1 work now that 20.7.2 is out? If I unlock the 20.7 upgrade does it go straight to 20.7.2 from 20.1.9, or will it just try to load 20.7 first then 20.7.2?

Thanks
