When I connect to Opnsense via wireless and open the command prompt and do an ipconfig I see my dhcp IP address and the default gateway ip address.

When I open a browser and enter the default gateway ip address the Opnsense login screen comes up.  Is there anyway to prevent a wireless user from getting to the Opnsense login screen?

Any help would be appreciated as I do not want to mess up something.

Thanks in advance

20.7 Legacy Series / WiFi stopped after latest Upgrade
September 01, 2020, 11:24:23 PM
My setup is Internet -> FIOS router -> Opnsense -> Fortigate -> internal LAN.  All worked fine until the latest major OPNsense upgrade and then the WiFi quit working and could not get out to the internet.  The access points are connected to the Fortigate and then out via the OPNsense thru the FIOS Router.

After the upgrade the access point connections indicated they were connected on the internal computers but no with no internet access.  I took the OPNsense out between the FIOS router and the Fortigate and everything now works correctly and WiFi is getting out to the internet.

However,  I cannot figure out what changes were made in the OPNsense upgrade that may be keeping the connection from going thru the FIOS box to the internet.

Any help would be appreciated as I would really want to get the OPNsense back in.

Thanks in advance,

Greg
