Hardware and Performance / Replacement for APU4D4, SSD, WLAN, LTE

Hello
I'm looking for new hardware with SIM card readers to replace my current APU4D4 boards.

Until now:
APU4D4 (4x LAN)
16GB SSD
WiFi card
4G LTE card

Simultaneous operation of LTE and WLAN is required.

What hardware do you use?

The performance of the APU4D4 is sufficient so far, but the delivery situation and end of life are a problem.

I looked at a Protectli solution with a VP2420 but the price is a factor of 2 compared to the APU4D4 solution......

ich habe den Fehler gefunden .....

Das APU-Board bootet trotz F10 Bootmenü trotzdem von der Festplatte.....

Hallo pmhausen,
das hatte ich bereits versucht ..... ich bekomme immer folgenden Fehler:

root@OPNsense:~ # dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/ada0 bs=1m
dd: /dev/ada0: Operation not permitted

*** scheinbar funktioniert es mit "dd if=/dev/zero of=ada0 bs=1m"

Hallo zusammen,
folgendes Problem

APU Board mit seriellen zugriff
Auf der msata Platte ist bereits eine alte OPNsense installiert und ich möcht nun auf diesen Datenträger die neue Version mit dem ZFS Dateisystem installieren.
Über den Installer kommt immer die Fehlermeldung das bereits ein System auf dem Datenträger ist.

Wie kann ich den Datenträger komplett löschen, wenn ich mit dem OPNsense bootstick boote ?

bisher habe ich bei den APU 4D4 Boards immer die Huawei ME909s-120 V2 miniPCIe eingesetzt

Leider ist diese Karte nicht mehr lieferbar ..... kennt ihr eine gut funktionierende Alternative ?
quectel ec25-e mini pcie ?
Quectel EG25-G ?

Hallo zusammen,
ich habe eine OPNsense 27.7.1 und noch Probleme
WLAN-Karte als Accesspoint konfiguriert.
Sobald ich mich mit einem Rechner mit dem entsprechenden WLAN verbinden möchte, kommt nach Eingabe des Kennwortes:
Keine Verbindung mit diesem Netzwerk möglich

Folgendes habe ich schon getestet:
Verschlüsselung geändert, Kennwort geändert, Kanal ...

Kann ich im Log etwas sehen woran es liegen kann ?

Hallo,
habe jetzt auch diese Variante lange getestet es hilft leider auch nicht.

Nach spätestens 1-2 Tagen bleibt die OPNsense offline.
Erst ein manueller Connect bringt diese wieder online.

Habt ihr sonst noch eine Idee ?

Hallo zusammen,
ich habe folgendes Problem:

Auf dem PC Engines APU.4D4 Board ist die Huawei ME909s-120p V2 LTE Mini-PCIe-Karte eingebaut.
Die Einwahl per LTE funktioniert und ich bekomme auch eine öffentliche IP über den richtigen APN zugewiesen.

Probleme macht der reconnect, wenn die Verbindung unterbrochen ist.
Im Dashboard sehen ich, dass die Verbindung nicht aktiv ist, scheinbar findet aber auch kein reconnect statt.
Was kann ich machen, damit der reconnect reibunglos funktioniert ?

Manuell funktioniert dann der reconnect ohne Probleme
Nach einem Neustart verbindet sich die OPNsense auch direkt wieder

Hallo micneu,
da gebe ich dir voll und ganz recht. Ich habe die OPNsense jetzt wieder neu aufgesetzt, Backup eingespielt und ie letzten Änderungen angepasst.
Mit geht es vorallem um den Lehrneffekt .... was kann man in diesem Fall machen .....
Ich hatte mir erhofft dass man an das Konfigfile noch "irgendwie" drankommt.

Kann ich jetzt noch ein Backup der Konfiguration ziehen (wie?) und nach einer Neuinstallation das Backup einspielen ?
