I have opnsense tested today. I would like to replace a pfSense system. With pfSense, I can specify a list of MAC which can surf without authentication or devices by the MAC Basically lock. The MACs I can also give a name. With opnsense, I can only specify a list for allowed MACs. Then I know afterwards but no longer which MAC belongs to which device. I can assign MACs by DHCP to an IP. If then however someone assigns an IP statically, which is unlocked, it can also surf.
Is it planned to make this feature similar to pfSense?
