Can i post or get ? If there is no API for this, will there be in the future?

I'm looking for:
Publish dns records.
get / see dns records.
maybe get dhcp clients to.

(I need it for scripts. )

I need some info about the API to!

(e.g Is there any way to get some idea on who is connected on DHCP)
