OpenVPN Client - Interface : no gateway group selection
« on: August 08, 2018, 10:08:41 am »
Hello,
I use a gateway group to route traffic between two wan links (tier1/tier2 for link down).
Under pfsense, adding a gateway group add it to the openvpn client interface list.
This allows to automatically connect the vpn link and to return to tier 1 when returning to normal.

Under openvpn, I don't have this interface.
I can select Interfaces: Any ;
but we don't have priority over the link.
If you switch to the emergency link, you stay there.
How do we do that?

Did I forget to check a box to see the gateway group appear?
The checkbox Gateway switching under firewall -> settings -> advanced is checked

thanks in advance

Hi,
I found a core ticket (https://github.com/opnsense/core/issues/1630) that correspond to my need.
Need to reopen a feature ticket?
