OPNsense WAN issue, anyone else?
« on: September 06, 2018, 02:58:36 am »
Ok, so i'm running into an issue where if the WAN modem is disconnected for a second/minute (we'll say under 5 min) when the modem comes back online the network bandwidth just drop's and is not stable at all. UnboundDNS and NTP services will keep stopping and restarting and the WAN port will down and up again on it's own. If I reboot opnsense the issue goes away. I've used the same exact HW with pfsense and never seen this issue before till I switched over. I reinstalled PFsense and simulated the modem outage and pfsense worked as normal.
