« on: July 19, 2018, 08:39:34 am »
1、Why DHCP Server is down and I COULD NOT use DHCP RELAY?

2、I unselect Enable DHCP server on the LAN interface and why GUI check the value?

The DHCP server showing status red in the upper right corner means you configured it at some point. You need to switch it off sensibly, even if it means filling out fields that should have been filled out before. When it is of you can use relay.

The indication that it doesn't start and missing the ranges is a clear sign that something went wrong with the configuration, but it's not unfixable.

And please update, 18.1.6 is old.

oh,yeah.
I reactivated a closed interface and found that the DHCP service of the interface was enabled. So even if the interface has been shut down, will its DHCP configuration be empty?

I don't know. This was never reported before.

I did a test: an interface was enabled and the DHCP service of the interface was enabled.
Then I removed this interface and finally found that DHCP relay can be enable immediately. May this be the difference between unenable and deleting?
