Installation with manual partitioning crashing
« on: February 24, 2018, 09:36:47 am »
Hello,

This is my first post here, just recived qotom i3 mini PC, and try to install opnsense. If i select auto install everything is working, but i would like to use manual partitioning and not create any swap partition. With manual partitioning selected installer is crashing each time it should write changes to disk. Im using UEFI boot.

Is this a known issue ?or maybee HW related?

Thanks,

found out that no /swap is created during auto install...but anyway manual partitioning is crashing the installer.

The installer usually crashes on me, I manually install making a mirror raid, when it crashes I simply log in again as installer, password opnsense and carry on, I usually get a few crashes I nurse my way through. Once partitioning is over it's smooth sailing.
