[SOLVED] Not possible to rename interfaces
« on: May 08, 2016, 02:42:06 pm »
Hi,

I would like to be able to rename interfaces for OPNSense. The default LAN/WAN are OK, but OPT1 and so on are not descriptive enough for my purposes. I tried to find a way to do it via the GUI and searched the forums, but I couldn't find anything on this topic. Any ideas?

Hi there,

It's under Interfaces: [INTERFACE] almost at the top "Description".

Cheers,

Thanks! I somehow got confused as it was empty for LAN and WAN - it'd didn't cross my mind to see how it works for OPT1.
