Interface configuration IPv6: None
« on: December 31, 2015, 09:32:18 am »
Hi,

currently when configuring an interface to IPv6: None, the interface still gets a local-link IP, if IPv6 is globally enabled. Is that intended?

If the interface is enabled it will always get a link-local IP address, just the same as an IPv4 loopback IP address is issued.

Link-local IPs are mostly hidden from the GUI, so this is considered a more or less standard scenario that doesn't help the user at all.
