Suggestions for improvement
« on: September 25, 2018, 08:11:49 pm »
Quite often (almost always) there are problems after rebooting opnsense - some services do not work and only starts after several reboots.
After going to 18.7.3, the config was completely dropped.
Accordingly, the network lays for a long time.

What do I suggest:
not all need a full package of updates, I propose to allow the installation of ONLY security updates.

Can already have any tools that allow you to organize the installation of security updates? No bug fixes, no new functionality, I personally do not need it - only security updates are of interest.

As far as I know Deciso offers such a version commercially which will only get bugfixes and security updates. Ask one of their employees for it.

I suggest even without bugfixes, only security updates. At least the system packages, without opnsense.
