Tinc on 18.7.4
« on: October 05, 2018, 10:05:22 pm »
I'm new to OpnSense having used SonicWALLs for years so please excuse my ignorance. :-)

I've installed Eugene Mayer's os-tincd package and I've been working on getting it configured and working for two Opnsense firewalls for a client.  The firewalls are fine for DHCP and the like but I'm having issues with getting tincd to work.

I'm hoping that it's just a firewall rule that I'm doing wrong.  I've opened port 655 on both firewalls on the WAN side; I've created a firewall rule for the TINCLAN interface to permit traffic between the endpoints but I'm not able to get the VPN to come up.  If someone has configured this on OpnSense and would share some insight, I'd appreciate it.  I'm at work so I can't post any of the .conf files now.  Thanks.

Why dont you use the official Tinc Plugin?
What exactly do you want to achieve?
