How to change the default values for creating a certificate within the GUI
« on: May 15, 2018, 06:01:33 pm »
Is it possible to change the default values for the certificate creation within the GUI?
I would like to change the default values to:

key lenth: 2048 -> 4096
Digest Algorithm: SHA256 -> SHA512
Lifetime: 365 -> 700

Thank you for your help.

No, default values are usually hardcaoded and need to be adjusted in the code -> it is a patch for the code.

Thank you very much for your quick answer!

Now it's clear, why my changes in some config files never worked.

My proposal would be, to save the last used values. So everybody could work with his own preferred adjustments.
Just my idea...

Thank you!
