Captive Portal and Static DHCP Mappings
« on: June 14, 2018, 08:56:08 pm »
Hi all,

you always have one person which will not come along with IT infrastrucutre. Always one person who needs a special favor. This week I implemented 1 static dhcp mapping for my (W)LAN Interface as her Mobile Device is not able to recieve an IP-Adresse.

By checking the logfiles of the system today i noticed: damn: Since she has her static mapping there is no captive portal login. For all other devices its working fine.

Is there a way to force a device with static IP (which is in the same subnet as the captive portal), just outside of dhcp range, to use captive portal?

Thx and KR
