Alert for new DHCP client
« on: August 03, 2023, 08:55:37 am »
Hello,

I'm looking for a way to get a notification when a new DHCP client appears, is that possible? A quick search didn't bring up anything (btw, the search on this forum has a problem: basically all my searches return pages and pages of announcements for new releases...)

Cheers

I guess you could use something to parse the DHCP-log.

However, if you are not explicitly bound to DHCP you could use https://virtualize.link/opnarp/ to be alerted of new ARP entries.
