RSPAMD: Just add [SPAM] in the Mailheader instead of non delivery
« on: March 22, 2018, 09:46:36 pm »
Hi,

I saw, that rspamd blocks spam mail (erm, who wants them, don't ask). But, i think we should leave the decision (delete or not to delete) to the enduser.

So, is it possible, to forward all mails to the inbox, but set an X-SPAM and X-VIRUS in the Mailheader and perhaps mark it like that in the concern of the mail?

Like that, users could easily filter their mails.

It is a reject, which means the mail won't be accepted by your mail server - this is compliant to the laws in many (all?) EU countries to block spam. As soon as the mail server accepts the mail, it is your fault if something wents wrong.
An end user should not be allowed to make any decision on security. This has to be done by an (experienced) administrator.
For example: Would you like to pass malware (maybe drive-by exploits for your mail clients)?

Got a ticket to add the headers - I am not sure if it is easy to switch between those modes. A ticket has been created in GitHub today:

But the admin must do that on ALL clients.
