"Move selected rules before this rule" in Firewall: NAT: Port Forward is not working for me.

OPNsense 18.1.r2-amd64
FreeBSD 11.1-RELEASE-p6
OpenSSL 1.0.2n 7 Dec 2017

Didn't used it before, as i created my rules in the right order from the beginning. But i had to delete an older rule so that it could be re-created last in the list in order to modify the "priority". The little "left arrow" icon is not working.

It is working for me;

Stupid question, but have you selected the rule to be moved with the checkbox on the left?

What's the browser enviornment?
I have tried in Firefox 57.x and Internet Explorer 11.

Of course, i did select the rule and use the left arrow which controls multiselected items, and i also tried the arrow specific for that one rule. None worked. I use Chrome (latest stable version, 64 something, i'm unable to check the version right now).

Thanks for your input though. I'll try a different browser later.

Hello,

There will be a sort of drag and drop eventually, but the issue with that is how we handle the commit of the order change. Since this opportunity is as good as any:

If there were such a feature, would you expect to save it right after dragging it to the new location or reorder until done and click via extra "save but do not apply" ?

Cheers,
Franco

Should be simple. Do the reordering, then click apply after you are done with the reorder

Sure... still the same question: does it apply the config, the firewall rules apply or both?

Cheers,
Franco

My vote goes to: reorder & apply via that one extra click.

Personally, I see no reason to delay the applying, to just save the rules without applying. If you want that, you can still temporarily disable any rule and save & apply the rest. I think the majority of users will define (subconsciously) the extra click as 'save and apply', named simply 'apply', which obviously will first save the config and then apply it  :)
