We habe a Problem, that the PPPoE Interface is not updating the IP after a reconnect. The error in log is:
opnsense: /usr/local/etc/rc.newwanip: Curl error occurred: Failed to connect to dynupdate.no-ip.com port 443: Operation timed out
This seems like this problem:

Is the Bugfix included in opnsense 17.1?

I'm not sure why this old thread popped up, but this could help...
https://github.com/opnsense/core/commit/cc7c54a
But you need OPNsense 17.7 to apply:
# opnsense-patch cc7c54a
Cheers,
