I'm in non-live setup phase

I have PfSense already*, in the process of getting a better PC with OPNsense.

Right now, it's sitting on my workbench with IP 192.168.1.137, no WAN NIC. I'm looking at a few guides for best practices. Get everything set-up, then deploy... Robert's your father's brother!

If you do not have a WAN setup yet, you will net to set up a default gateway to your current router plus a DNS service, both over LAN. Do not forget to remove it before you deploy.
