OPNsense 17.1 installations problem
« on: February 01, 2017, 10:24:05 pm »
Hello

I have many problem to install the new opnsense 17.1 Version.

I can not Install 17.1 and 16.7 from usb (not bootable).
Fix the boot problem for the Version 16.7:
I can installed the 16.1 from usb and upgrade to 16.7 with the opnsense upgrade function.

By Upgrade to 17.1 with the opnsense upgrade function, I have a "cam status: uncorrectable parity/crc error".
I check the ssd of errors but the hard disk has no errors.

(I use a Samsung 128 GB M2 SSD hard disk)

How i can install the new 17.1 opnsense version?

Thanks for all who can help me

I could not get any machine to boot the new OPNsense 17.1. Today (inspired from another post in this forum) I tried to write the USB using a Linux machine instead of my normal Windows machine and it worked - my machine booted up the 17.1 installation.
