HA-Cluster with OPNsense on VMware ESXi 8.0 CU3

Hello all,

im trying to set up an OPNsense-Cluster on VMware ESXi.
The Cluster is working and when i shutdown the Master, the Backup-Node is switching into Master-Mode.
But when i activate the "Persitent CARP Maintenance Mode" on the Master, the Backup-Node keeps on Backup and the Master keeps on Master.
I have activated the follwing settings in the VMware vSwitch:
- Promiscous-Mode:       active
- MAC address changes: active
- Forged transmits:        active
Does anybody have the same problem or any suggestion to try out?

The Firmware of both OPNsense is 24.7.9_1 in Community Edition
