Franco, I just burned the second image you posted and my Mini won't recognize it as a boot device.  I'm going to try the first one now.

The other one boots to a menu with two blank choices "1." and "2." with a prompt to "Select CD-ROM Type:"  But I can't type anything or select anything.

That's the BIOS one. It doesn't recognize the USB keyboard.
Mac only has EFI or UEFI.
