OpenVPN tap
« on: February 15, 2017, 08:37:28 am »
Hi,

I'm trying to setup a bridged OpenVPN connection. I've been reading that I should use tap.
I copied the settings from a working tun setup but it doesn't work.

Wed Feb 15 08:29:30 2017 OpenVPN ROUTE: OpenVPN needs a gateway parameter for a --route option and no default was specified by either --route-gateway or --ifconfig options
Wed Feb 15 08:29:30 2017 OpenVPN ROUTE: failed to parse/resolve route for host/network: 192.168.0.0
Wed Feb 15 08:29:30 2017 TUN/TAP device tap0 opened
Wed Feb 15 08:29:30 2017 NOTE: unable to redirect default gateway -- VPN gateway parameter (--route-gateway or --ifconfig) is missing
Wed Feb 15 08:29:30 2017 Initialization Sequence Completed

How can I fix this?
I already tried to add --route-gateway 192.168.0.1 but it didn't help.
